Terms of Service — Word Palette (DRAFT v2 — for attorney review)

1. The agreement

These Terms govern your use of Word Palette (the "Service"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

2. What the Service is

Word Palette is a subscription-based digital spiritual-formation course delivered as a guided journey through illustrated content and a structured lesson methodology. It is a devotional and educational product. It is not counselling, therapy, or medical or mental-health advice, and it does not replace professional care.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 or older. Keep your credentials secure and your details accurate; you're responsible for activity under your account. Password recovery is available via the Service.

4. Subscription, pricing and the price lock

• Monthly recurring subscription. The current price is displayed at signup. At launch the introductory price is R99 per month; the standard price is R149 per month.
• Price lock: subscribe at the introductory price and it remains your price for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the price current at that time applies.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews monthly and your card is charged on the renewal date via Paystack until you cancel. [ATTORNEY: confirm CPA s14 / renewal-notice wording for consumer fixed/renewing agreements.]
• Failed payments: if a renewal charge fails we and Paystack may retry; your access continues during a grace period of [CONFIRM — recommended 7 days] after which access is suspended until payment succeeds.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel anytime from your account; this stops future charges and your access continues to the end of the period already paid. We do not pro-rate partial months. 6. Intellectual property

All course content — teaching text, illustrations, the map and city artwork, and the Word Pathways Creative Activities methodology — is the work of Cea du Plooy and is licensed to AQUILANOCTUA (PTY) LTD [ATTORNEY: reflect the actual licence/assignment once executed]. All rights reserved. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the content for your own use while subscribed. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly post, or create derivative works from any content. Study-notes PDFs are licensed to you personally and may not be shared. Your own reflections and notes remain yours.

7. Acceptable use

No unauthorised access, scraping, paywall or signed-URL circumvention, credential sharing for the purpose of shared access, or resale.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may improve, modify or add content and features over time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent the law allows. [ATTORNEY: draft the limitation-of-liability clause to CPA constraints — blanket exclusions are unenforceable against consumers in SA; nothing may exclude liability for gross negligence.]

10. Changes to these Terms

Material changes will be notified by email or in-app with a new effective date; continued use is acceptance.

11. Governing law
